LIMERICK’S own Animal Beats - now based in Dublin - return to their native city to finish an EP release tour with a gig in Dolan’s Warehouse this Friday night.
The four piece have recently released their debut single Cheap Carnival, taken from the EP of the same name, and return to Limerick to mark the exciting release.
A band described by our old pal Stuart Clark of Hot Press as “disgustingly young, but choc-full of tunes”, Animal Beats have been on our radar for some time, and the catchy single has delivered on the promise shown by the Limerick rockers.
The rocking quartet cite Biffy Clyro, Thin Lizzy and Kings Of Leon as influences and leave little behind them when they perform live.
Joining Animal Beats this Friday are Dead Red Light, Going 90 and Sum Young Wans, making it a top class line-up of exciting local bands, at a mere €5 entrance fee. Get to it!
