THERE were glorious scenes at Thomond Park this Monday night as an estimated 10,000 people welcomed home the newly-crowned United Rugby Championship champions.
The Munster Rugby team and extended squad were presented to the crowds shortly after 7pm - having returned from Cape Town, South Africa earlier in the day.
The fans and players were vocal as they sang the Cranberries' Zombie, the Fields of Athenry and the Munster Rugby anthem Stand up and Fight throughout the evening.
❤️ Magical

Prior to the public homecoming celebrations at Thomond Park, there was a private event at City Hall where the squad and officials were greeted by Mayor Frances Foley and council officials.
