IRELAND'S U20 rugby team are back-to-back Six Nations champions following a 36-24 win over England at Musgrave Park this evening.

Richie Murphy's side led 12-7 at half time with tries from Hugh Gavin and Garryowen's Brian Gleeson. George Hadden got the second half scoring under way before Gleeson touched down for his second try after England had a man sent off.

England rallied after the sending off with a couple of tries to bring themselves back into the game but it was Ireland that had the last laugh when Gavin bagged a second for himself when he collected a Sam Prendergast cross-field kick.

Scrum-half Fintan Gunne added a fifth try for Ireland late on to confirm the victory and a second Grand Slam on the bounce for Ireland and a second one of the weekend.
