TRAFFIC is now 'moving well' on one of the main roads on the outskirts of Limerick city after gardai dealt with a collision.

The collision happened in the city outbound on the Dublin Road, just after the Groody Roundabout, which is in close proximity to the University of Limerick.

Traffic is now moving well, according to AA Roadwatch, but motorists earlier experienced significant delays.
