Limerick City and County Council has announced that safety works will take place on the M20 westbound off-slip at Junction 3, Raheen, beginning on Monday, November 3rd, 2025.
The works, which involve improvements to the vehicle restraint system (VRS), will continue for four nights, with closures in place from 8pm to 6am each night until Friday, November 7th.

During the closure periods, traffic will be diverted to Junction 4 Patrickswell and back to Junction 3 using the eastbound slip road. Traffic management measures will be in place to guide motorists safely along the diversion route.
The Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused and is encouraging drivers to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys during the works.
