Emergency services attend collision in Limerick city

GARDAÍ and emergency services attended the scene of a collision in Limerick city on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred on Lord Edward Street in Limerick city at around 4pm on Wednesday, September 17.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, with no injuries reported at this time, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed.

No arrests have been made at time of writing, and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

In response to a query from Limerick Live, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochana said: "Gardaí attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at Lord Edward Street in Limerick on Wednesday 17th September 2025 at approximately 4 pm.

"No injuries have been reported at this time.

"No arrests have been made at this time.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
