Motorists warned of loose horses on approach to Limerick Tunnel

Loose horses have been reported on the N18 approaching the Limerick Tunnel

Motorists are being urged to exercise caution due to a number of loose horses on the N18 dual carriageway approaching the Limerick Tunnel.

Gardai from Roxboro Road have been deployed to the area –  between junction 2 (Rosbrien) and Junction 2 (N69 / Dock Road) – on the Limerick city side of the Tunnel.

While there are no reports of any significant delays, gardai and AA Roadwatch say caution is advised on the stretch of road between the two junctions.

At this stage, it’s not known where the horses have come from.
