Dozens of motorists have been issued with fines after they were detected driving in a bus lane on one of the main routes into the city.
Gardai have confirmed that 33 Fixed Charged Penalty Notices were issued to drivers in the Castletroy area of the city during an operation on Tuesday morning.
A photograph posted on social media suggests the offences were detected on the inbound section of the Dublin Road.

The bus lane on the Dublin Road stretches from Monaleen Road to just before Groody Roundabout. It is operational 24 hours a day.
The fine for driving in a bus lane is €60, rising to €90 if not paid withing 28 days.
