THERE are major traffic delays after multiple vehicles were damaged in a road traffic collision on the outskirts of the city this Sunday afternoon.
A garda spokesperson said gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a road traffic incident at Childers Road, Limerick city.

“It occurred shortly after 2.20pm today, October 12. As this incident is ongoing, no further information is available at this time,” said a garda spokesperson.
It is not known at this time if any of the occupants of the cars sustained injuries.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible due to long traffic delays.
