EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in County Limerick this Wednesday night.
Gardai, Limerick Fire and Rescue Service crews, and paramedics with the National Ambulance Service have all responded to the incident in west Limerick.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí in Askeaton are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on the N69 in Askeaton that occurred this evening Wednesday, April 9, 2025."
The section of road is currently closed and local diversions are in place. It is expected to be closed for a number of hours.
"No further details are available at this time. Investigations are ongoing," said a garda spokesperson.
