Motorist crashes into busy Limerick car park

A driver crashed into the car-park in the Jetland Shopping Centre

A DRIVER took an unconventional route of accessing the busy indoor car-park in the Jetland Shopping Centre this weekend.

The motorist crashed straight through a fence and up into the car-park, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. They didn't even park in a designated spot.

It is not known if it was an accident or done on purpose. Gardai have no reports matching the incident.

In January, shoppers were left stunned after a car crashed through the front of a busy store on the Father Russell Road, coming to a stop in the middle of the shop floor.

Seeing Limerick's hurlers lose wasn't the only strange sight witnessed by supporters, who parked in the Jetland Shopping Centre for the match in the TUS Gaelic Grounds, this Sunday.
