A middle-aged woman was pronounced dead after a single-vehicle collision. Gardaí have now renewed their appeal for information on this incident.

The fatal collision happened in Glanmire, county Cork, shortly after 7:45pm on Sunday, February 11.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Sarsfield Court in Glanmire.

One of the two occupants in the vehicle, a woman aged in her 50s, was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased at Cork University Hospital on Tuesday, February 13.

The second occupant of the vehicle, a woman aged in her 40s, also received treatment for non-life threatening injuries following the collision.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact them.

Any road users or pedestrians who were in the vicinity of Sarsfield Court, and who observed a white SUV vehicle travelling in the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
