GARDAI are investigating reports of sulky racing on one of the busiest roads in County Limerick this morning.
According to several motorists who contacted the Limerick Leader, a number of sulkies were seen travelling on the N20 between Patrickswell and Croom shortly before 7.30am.
One women said there were “four of five sulkies” and up to a dozen vehicles following them at the time.
A spokesperson for Askeaton garda station confirmed a patrol car was sent to the area after it received a number of phone calls from members of the public.
Although no sulkies were location, an investigation is underway.
