Public thanked as Limerick burglary is solved

Members of the public are being thanked for their assistance following a burglary in the Dooradoyle area of the city last week.

Members of the public are being thanked for their assistance following a burglary in the Dooradoyle area of the city last week.

Several items, including furniture were stolen from an apartment at Cois Luachra, which was broken into at around 1.45am on January 15 last.

Investigating gardai received information from members of the public, which resulted in two men being arrested and brought before the courts.

The stolen property was also recovered as a result of the information received.

“Gardaí are very grateful for the co-operation received from members of the public in solving crime and this co-operation is key in the battle against crime and ensuring that Limerick is a safer place for everyone to live.” said Sgt Brian Broderick.
