HUNDREDS of people descended on Mungret Park this Wednesday afternoon to mark day 75 of the '100 days of walking' initiative.
Supported by Limerick Sports Partnership, the event was led by GP and broadcaster Dr Ciara Kelly and her co-host on Newstalk Breakfast, Shane Coleman.
Following a warm up in pleasant weather, participants took part in a brisk 30-minute walk which saw them complete a number of laps of the park.
