Limerick author releases ‘Be Your Own Rock’ to inspire readers

LIMERICK-BORN Raquel Rocca is inspiring readers with her debut book, ‘Be Your Own Rock’, a heartfelt guide to overcoming life’s challenges.

Raised on the Ennis Road, Raquel said: "I wrote my book ‘Be Your Own Rock’ to inspire people to change their lives for the better.

“It includes many of life’s struggles such as grief, break ups, toxic friendships, parenting, dating, lack of motivation and low self esteem. It’s a very easy read but promises to touch the reader in a way few books manage to do. For every problem I give a solution and ways to change your mindset and view on it,” explained Raquel.

Her book sets to offer practical solutions and mindset shifts, making it an accessible yet deeply personal read.

Outside of writing, Raquel is a singer and social media creator. She performs in New Orleans and shares positive content on TikTok, connecting with fans through her practical advice.

She balances her creative career with family life in Louisiana, where she lives with her wife, Kassi, and their daughter, Brooklyn.

Raquel's next venture is writing a children book as that is another dream she wishes to fulfill.

‘Be Your Own Rock’ is a reflection of Raquel’s passion for helping others and a celebration of the power of mindset, determination, and love.

Raquels self-published debut novel is available now on Kindle, and was officially released as a physical book on November 24 from Amazon.
