Festive good fortune for one Lotto player in Limerick

A very happy Christmas for Limerick Lotto player who wins €87k

A LIMERICK Lotto player has three more shopping days to spend some of the €87,242 they won in Saturday night’s draw.

The lucky person matched five numbers plus the bonus in the main Lotto draw, ensuring a very happy Christmas.

The player purchased their €87k winning ticket on Thursday, December 19 at Dunnes Stores, Harvey's Quay, Limerick city.

The winning numbers in the Lotto draw were: 1, 14, 16, 20, 33, 41 and the bonus was 22.

The biggest recipient of festive good fortune was a Dublin Player who became a millionaire just before Christmas in a special draw

The winning Lotto Plus raffle number drawn was entered into a once-off random draw, where one ticket was selected to win an additional prize of €1 million.  While every ticket holder who had the winning raffle number won €500, one player won €1 million, in addition to the usual €500 prize.  The winning raffle number was:3012

While there were an incredible 86,000 prize winners in Saturday’s bumper Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, there was no winner of the €4.7 million jackpot, which now rolls to an estimated €5 million on Christmas Day’s draw.

The National Lottery is advising all prize winners over the festive season to sign the back of their winning tickets and keep them safe.

They should make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize early in the New Year.
