MEMBERS of the public will have the opportunity to get a first look at the Opera Square project this weekend, years ahead of its planned 2027 completion.

Developers of the project Limerick Twenty Thirty are inviting the public to a viewing day at the site on Saturday, some nine months after work commenced on the 3.7 acre site's first new build, One Opera Square.

The One Opera Square build, which is a joint venture between Limerick Twenty Thirty and the Ireland Strategic investment Fund, has already reached top floor level and recently celebrated its ‘topping out’ ceremony.

CEO of Limerick Twenty Thirty, David Conway, said that attendees will be “very taken with the scale of the basement works around the site generally and will get a good sense of the footprint of the site and what’s going to come out of it”.

Viewings will take place on Saturday, November 9, from 1-3pm, providing the public with an exclusive opportunity to step onto the site and witness the progress being made by Limerick Twenty Thirty and contractors John Sisk and Son.

Entry to the site will be via the security desk on Michael Street, with a group being taken every 30 minutes.

No safety wear is needed as the viewing point has been deemed safe and accessible for all visitors.

Members of the public who want to attend the viewing are asked to book online via Limerick Twenty Thirty's website or by email to info@limerick2030.ie.
