LIMERICK influencer Sinead O’Brien has celebrated her marriage to long-term partner Simon Fitzgerald in a stunning ceremony in the Algarve.
Wearing a gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown, the entrepreneur and her now-husband who hails from Crecora, emerged from the church in sunny Portugal on Wednesday afternoon hand-in-hand, with confetti heralding their arrival at the doorway to the cheers of awaiting well-wishers.
In an Instagram post, the Patrickswell woman captioned her wedding photos “Mr and Mrs Fitzgerald”. She also shared black and white images of her three bridesmaids adjusting her dress on the steps, followed by a solo photo of her and her stunning dress.
Sinead treated her 128,000 followers to a closer look at the dress in a second post, captioned “The dress of dreams”, and tagged Dreamy Curves Bridal, as well as the name of the wedding photographer, Andy Mac.
In a third post, the bride shared a picture of her in her gown, smiling in the sunshine, with the heartfelt caption “My heart could burst with the love, thank you everyone for your well wishes. I am so so so happy, the day was everything we could of dreamed of and more”.
She later shared an Instagram reel of her in the same spot, beaming to the camera, captioned "Golden hour".
The glamorous wedding reception took place at the Pine Cliffs Resort. The luxury venue hosted the wedding of Munster and Ireland rugby player Conor Murray and model Joanna Cooper in June 2023.

The guestlist for the Fitzgerald's destination wedding included several familiar faces from Limerick including influencer and Limerick woman Niamh de Brún-Reid, entrepreneur Leanne Moore, designer Chloe Walsh, Richard Lynch of ILoveLimerick and digital creator Pam Richardson-Hoare. Model and singer Michele McGrath and stylist Rebecca Rose were also in attendance.
Singer Chloë Agnew, a daughter of Twink, entertained the congregation with her angelic voice, singing songs such as Simply The Best.
The bride - who is also a soprano - wowed guests at the reception by singing Can't Take My Eyes Off You to her husband, Simon, in the company of their young son, Jacob.
Videos and photos posted by guests on social media showed the gorgeous decor at the venue. Pam Richardson-Hoare commented: “Wow, what a wedding. The attention to detail @sineadcurvystyle. Blown away”, with a starry eyes emoji, a grey love heart, and a heart hands emoji.
The guests sat at tables named after locations, including Nancy Blakes and Punch’s Bar, as well as more exotic locations like Perth and Lanzarote.
The style was full glam at the event, with Chloe Walsh wowing in a strapless black dress and matching cape, and Leanne Moore bringing a pop of colour in a red mini dress.
Niamh De Brún-Reid wore a sparkling pink mini dress, while Michele McGrath wore a floor length mustard dress.
Known on social media as Sinead’s Curvy Style, Sinead is the owner and founder of Vacious, a clothing line that sells “functional shapewear made for curvy women by a curvy woman”.
Sinead and Simon legally exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Limerick city earlier this month on September 6.
