GARDAI investigating the deaths of a husband and wife in County Clare say they are not looking for anybody else in relation to the incident.
The bodies of Joe and Claire Collins were discovered at a domestic residence in Killinaboy near Corofin at around 2.30pm on Thursday. They were both aged in their 50s.
The scene was preserved following the discovery with gardai requesting the assistance of the Office of the State Pathologist. An incident room as been established at Ennis garda station.
In an update, issued this Friday night, gardai confirmed post mortem examinations - carried out at University Hospital Limerick - have been completed.
The results, a spokesperson added, will not be released for operational reasons.
"The primary focus for gardaí at this time is the preparation of a file for the Coroner. Gardaí are not looking for any other individual in relation to this incident at this time," they stated.
The scene remains preserved and technical examinations are ongoing and gardai are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have information to contact them.
