Man accused of sexual assault sent forward for trial

A MAN who is charged with three counts of sexual assault has been sent forward for trial to Limerick Circuit Court.

A MAN who is charged with three counts of sexual assault has been sent forward for trial to Limerick Circuit Court.

The man who is in his 30s and from the Kilmallock area was before the local court charged with sexual assault at Tobernea East, Effin on July 1 2007; sexual assault at Tobernea East, Effin on August 1 2007 and sexual assault at Kilmallock Business Park, Ardyoul, Kilmallock on October 26, 2008.

Inspector Paul Reidy of Henry Street garda station informed the court that the book of evidence had been served on the accused and that the Director of Public Prosecutions consented to the accused being sent forward for trial to the next sittings of Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.
