Comedy star to take to the stage for Limerick Pantomine

BERNARD O’Shea has joined the cast of the much-anticipated pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty at University Concert Hall, Limerick. 

A well-known, writer, actor, comedian and television presenter, Bernard is an exciting addition to this year’s Limerick pantomime.

He has appeared on a number of TV shows most notably Bridget and Eamon, and recently on RTÉ’s Marty & Bernard on the Road Again and Bernard’s Working Comics.

Now in its twelfth year, the UCH Christmas pantomime is a beloved tradition at University Concert Hall and is enjoyed by audiences in Limerick and well beyond.

The pantomine will feature stunning sets, colourful costumes, hopping hits and a talented cast of performers.

Producer Robert C Kelly said “Limerick is like our second home, audiences have been welcoming our large-scale family panto since 2012 and audiences here are some of the best in the world. We look forward to delivering another exciting and fun production this year and sharing the joy and happiness that panto brings to more people than ever!”

Bernard O'Shea said: “I am thrilled to be taking on this exciting role in Sleeping Beauty. Pantomime is such a fun and exciting form of theatre, and I can’t wait to bring this classic fairy tale to life for audiences in Limerick.”

Tickets for University Concert Hall Limerick’s pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty start from €25 and are on sale now.
