Man dies in County Limerick road crash

GARDAI are appealing for information following a fatal road crash in County Limerick yesterday evening.

The single vehicle collision occurred at Killaculleen Templeglantine at around 4pm.

A car collided with a wall killing the 24-year-old driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicle at the time.

The man’s body was taken to The Mid Western Regional Hospital last night where a post-mortem examination will be conducted.

A section of the R515 was closed for several hours last evening to facilitate a forensic collision examination but it has since re-opened.

Gardaí in Abbeyfeale are investigating the circumstances of crash and can be contacted at (068) 30010.
