RISING star Moncrieff has announced he will perform in Limerick this Friday for an intimate gig.
In a bid to raise funds for youth mental health charity, ‘A Lust For Life’, the singer-songwriter will play pop-up shows. This Friday, he’ll make a stop in Dolan’s – and the tickets will be on sale this evening.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Moncrieff commented: “HERE SHE IS. One weekend of intimate gigs. 100% of proceeds going to Irish Mental Health Charity “A Lust for Life.”
“Tickets go on sale TONIGHT AT 20:00. This is going to be special,” he added.
Originally from Waterford, Moncrieff is known for his soulful voice and emotive lyrics.
Last year, he welcomed the All Ireland winning Limerick hurlers at TUS Gaelic Grounds, where he performed alongside Emma Langford.
With his latest single, Young Men, the Waterford native addresses men’s mental health issues – a topic close to the artist’s heart.
All the funds and donations from the ticket sales will go to ‘A Lust For Life’ and The Rising a kayaking initiative organised by musician Niall Bressie.
