GARDAI are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man on the southside of Limerick city last night.
The 31-year-old died a short time after emergency services were called to a house at Hyde Road at around 8.30pm.
The circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed for operational reasons.
The house remains cordoned off and the State Pathologist, Prof Marie Cassidy, is due in Limerick later today to carry out a post-mortem examination.
Gardai at Roxboro Road are investigating the man’s death and anybody with information is asked to contact them at (061) 214340.
