THREE men and a woman are still being questioned in connection with a number of aggravated burglaries in the Pallasgreen area earlier this year.
Over the weekend, gardai were granted additional time to question the four, who were arrested in Dublin and Tipperary last Thursday during what was described by Supt Alan Cunningham as a “major garda operation”.
Two men and a woman were arrested when gardai swooped on a premises in West Dublin while a third man was arrested outside Tipperary Town.
All four are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held without charge until Thursday morning.
The four, who are aged between 19 and 48, are being questioned at Bruff, Henry Street, Roxboro and Mayorstone garda stations.
Two other men are currently before the courts in relation to a number of aggravated burglaries in the Pallasgreen area in March and April.
