Munster maintained their place at the top of the RaboDirect PRO12 on Saturday night thanks to a 31-10 win over the Cardiff Blues.
Rob Penney’s side had the game as good as won at half time when they led 24-3, their tries coming from Felix Jones, Damien Varley and James Cronin and nine points from the boot of outhalf JJ Hanrahan.
An Andrew Conway try in the second half secured the bonus point for Munster and although hooker Kristian Dacey touched down for the home side to reduce the lead, Munster never looked like losing, despite yellow cards for CJ Stander and Mike Sherry.
Munster’s next game is in Wales again next Friday when they travel to take on the Newport Gwent Dragons. The following Sunday, December 1, Munster welcome Perpignan to Thomond Park for Round 3 of the Heineken Cup.
