The hurling club championship next round of fixtures have been announced and boxing on the rise thanks to Andy Lee are the biggest sporting talking points in Limerick this Tuesday.
Hurling - Club fixture details announced
Limerick GAA fixture planners have set out a schedule of 19 club hurling championship games for the first two weeks of August. The games in the top three tiers of club hurling should give an indication towards the knockout stages of the Senior Championship, Premier Intermediate Championship and Intermediate Championship. The August Bank Holiday weekend is to host the majority of the games.

Gaelic Football - Kerry and Dublin quarter finals set for Croke Park double header
It has been confirmed by the GAA that both Leinster and Munster provincial football champions, will play their respective quarter finals in Croke Park on August 2. The announcement was made along with further confirmation of dates and venues for the round 4A and 4B qualifiers.
Golf - Johnson lands his second major
America’s Zach Johnson fought off Marc Leishman and Louis Oosthuizen to win the coveted Claret Jug and in turn sealed the second major title of his career.
