MUNSTER U-20s will be crowned interprovincial champions on Friday if they overcome Connacht in their final fixture of the series at the Sportsground, Galway, 5pm.
Munster made it two wins from two in the U-20 interprovincial series when recording a resounding 22-8 victory over Leinster at the Mardyke on Friday last.
Munster led 9-3 at half-time, thanks to two penalty goals from Bill Johnston, of Garryowen, and one from Young Munster full-back Dave O’Mahony.
A second half-try from Shane Daly, of PBC, inspired the home side to an impressive win.
Meanwhile, both Munster U-19 and U-18 Club sides recorded wins against Leinster and Connacht respectively in their interprovincial fixtures at CIT at the weekend.
The Munster U-19 side made it two wins out of two in the interprovincial campaign as they came from behind to defeat Leinster 26-18.
Jack O’Donnell, of Ardscoil Ris and Shannon, scored one of Munster U-19s four tries, while out-half Conor Fitzgerald, of Ardscoil Ris, kicked three conversions.
The Munster U-18 Club side bounced back from their defeat to Leinster in Dublin to record a 29-3 victory over Connacht at the CIT Grounds.
Waterpark’s Alex Molloy scored three second half tries as Munster pulled clear after the break. The sides had been level, 3-3, at half-time.
