THE Limerick senior hurling team to play Wexford shows four switches from the side that easily beat Antrim in the previous round.
Their is a first ever league start for David Reidy at wing forward after he scored a goal when introduced against Antrim two weeks ago.
In a shock Kevin Downes is named at full forward.
Management had said that all Na Piarsaigh players would be given an extended rest after their extended club season.
They were then drafted into the panel at the last minute for the Cork game but were then to ‘resume’ their break. All were absent for the Antrim game but now Downes is given the No14 jersey for Sunday’s game.
Fellow Na Piarsaigh players Cathal King and Shane Dowling are among the subs.
Also returning after Richie McCarthy and Graeme Mulcahy. McCarthy missed the Antrim game due to a slight injury, while Mulcahy was suspended.
Departing the line-up are corner back Stephen Walsh and forwards Tom Ryan, Thomas O’Brien and Tommy Quaid.
