THE Padel Federation of Ireland (PFI), in partnership with leading sports event agency ForeFront Group, have announced the launch of the first-ever Padel Irish Open, will take place at Padel LK in Limerick from November 12-16, 2025
In a major milestone for Irish padel, the event has been confirmed as an official stop on the Cupra FIP Tour, the global padel tour sanctioned by the International Padel Federation (FIP). The tournament will bring international ranking points and world-class talent to Irish soil.
“We are proud to launch the Irish Open alongside the World Governing Body of Padel (FIP) and ForeFront,” said Naomi Nicholl, President of the Padel Federation of Ireland.

“This landmark tournament at Padel LK will bring some of the world’s top padel players to Irish soil, providing Irish players with a unique opportunity to debut on the global stage, and allowing Irish fans to experience elite-level action up close.
“This marks a defining moment for Irish padel, reflecting our growing reputation and ambition within the global padel community, and advancing our mission to continue to grow the sport nationwide as both a competitive and community activity.”
ForeFront will promote and lead the event delivery alongside PFI, bringing their expertise in staging premium sports events to ensure a high-impact debut for the Irish Open on the Global padel circuit.
Cian Branagan, CEO of ForeFront Group said: “We are very excited to announce this news today with Padel LK and the Padel Federation of Ireland – we have been working with Naomi and the team at the PFI for a long time to get this event off the
ground and now this is a major milestone for Irish Padel. Our aim is to grow this event year on year and eventually have it as one of the biggest events in Europe, providing a pathway for Irish padel players to springboard into the Global Ranks.”
The event will be hosted at Padel LK, Ireland’s largest indoor padel facility, featuring 8 state-of-the- art courts and ready for a tournament of this level.

The Padel Irish Open is expected to draw top players from around Europe, along with national talent, spectators, sponsors, and media attention. Further announcements, including player entry, ticketing, and event activations, will follow in the coming weeks.
