THE Limerick senior hurling team has been named to take on Cork in the third round of the Munster Championship this Saturday evening, May 11 at 7pm in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Seamus Flanagan starts this Saturday's game in replace of the injured Peter Casey who suffered a horrible broken ankle in the second-half of the Treaty men's victory over Tipperary.

This is a vital game for the Rebels who will need to beat Limerick this weekend to keep their dreams of qualifying out of the Munster Championship group alive after two defeats to Waterford and Clare.

Limerick currently sit at the top of the table after two victories in the Championship so far against Clare and Tipperary. After the trip to Cork the Treaty men will take on Waterford at home in the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday, May 26 at 4pm.

This Saturday evening’s game will be streamed live on GAAGO.
