FAIRVIEW Rgs qualified for the final of the Tuohy Cup with a comfortable 4-0 win against Carew Park on Wednesday evening.
Fairview will now meet holders Pike Rovers in this week’s decider.
The Blues took the lead when Shane Duggan provided for Kane Connolly to score.
The lead was doubled five minutes from half time, Liam Quinn passed for Adam Dore to find the target.
Midway through the second half, Dore scored his second after good work by Josh Quinlivan.
Shane Duggan completed the scoring 15 minutes from time to seal an impressive performance.

AISLING Annacotty remain joint top in the Premier League following an excellent 3-1 win away to fellow challengers Regional United on Saturday evening.
It was the end of a miserable week for the Dooradoyle club following a penalty shoot-out loss to Pike Rvs in the FAI Junior Cup last weekend, and they were hoping to bounce back immediately.
It looked good when Kieran O'Connell fired them in front, but the visitors proved a stubborn lot and they responded to run out winners.
Regional started well and the woodwork denied them an early lead when an Aisling defender attempted to clear.
O’Connell went within an inch of breaking the deadlock while at the other end, Paul Brennan fired over the top after a good run.
The home side took the lead when Eoin Duff put the ball into Kieran O’Connell’s path and he duly fired past the advancing Finn Clancy in the visitor’s goal.
Aisling ensured the first half finished all square when Eliah Riordan headed in from a corner kick.

isling took the lead in the second half, again from a set piece this time Tom Kelly heading home with his first club for the club.
Regional had plenty of possession, but Aisling were more direct and despite being reduced to ten men they added a third through Theo Joyce when he fired in from Adam Foley’s knock down.
Regional will be down after the result but with the top four sides all still to play each other, there are plenty of points still to fight for.

Fairview Rgs kept their title charge on course with a hard-earned win over neighbours Geraldines on Saturday evening.
A Kevin Barry goal had Fairview in front by the break and it took 60 minutes to add a second courtesy of Shane Duggan.
Geraldines kept battling and got some joy when AJ Moloney pulled on back on 65 minutes.
However, the Blues had the last word and with five minutes remaining, Filip Mostowy secured the win with the crucial third goal.

A clinical Pike Rvs maintained their position at the top of the table, hitting Coonagh for six at the Pike Field on Sunday.
Colin Daly put Pike on their way before Shane Clarke made it 2-0.
Dylan Murphy put the boot in against the relegation threatened United and went on to score a hat-trick.
Conor Coughlan made up the Hoops tally, while Darragh Peters netted a consolation for the visitors.

Southend caused a huge shock beating Premier League neighbours Carew Park 3-1 in the Lawson Cup.
It was no flash in the pan as the Division 1A were fully deserving of their victory.
With the game evenly poised Leon Johnson broke the deadlock midway through the first half when he deftly lobbed Evan Moloney in the Carew Park goal.
The expected Carew response never arrived and the visitors doubled their lead when top scorer Jamie Hogan rose highest to head home from close range.
After the restart, Carew Park pulled one back when a rare error in the Southend defence allowed Dylan Kelly Higgins in for a soft goal.
Rather than spur Carew to chase the equaliser, the goal saw Southend still control the tie and it was no surprise when they added the third goal when Denis Brophy pounced on a loose ball to blast the ball home from inside the box to complete a memorable victory.

The second Premier side to crash out to lower league opposition were Mungret Regional who lost out on a penalty shoot-out to Lisnagry.
Scoreless at the break, Mungret upped the tempo after the restart and took the lead when Pat Aherne finished Jamie Enright’s cross to the net.
Lisnagry refused to bow however and they got back on terms midway through the half when Niall McGrath picked out Caolan Dignam who found the back of the net to tie the game.
Neither side could find a winner so the penalty shoot-out lottery was called for and the home side kept their cool to win 4-3.

Newport got the better of neighbours Murroe to move into round three in the Lawson Cup.
Scoreless at the break, the Premier side upped the tempo after the restart and a brace each for Elliot Slattery and Darren Collins as well as a goal from Daniel Ryan sealed the win.

Janesboro fought back well to progress in the Lawson Cup with a last minuyte winner over neighbours Summerville Rvs.
Evan O’Grady had put Rovers in front but Paudie Walsh levlled matters on 75 minutes.
With time virtually up, the old reliable, Thomas Clarke popped up with the winner for ‘Boro.

Hyde Rgs will host Nenagh AFC in Round three of the Lawson Cup after a comfortable win over Glenview on Sunday. Ben
Kennedy was tormentor in chief for the winners with a hat trick. Dave Thompson scored two while Jack O'Callaghan and Cathal Downes made up the list.
Dromore Celtic 0 Knockainey 2
Knockainey took a welcome break from a harsh league campaign to progress in the Lawson Cup with a 2-0 win at Dromore Celtic.
Ger Peters and Cathal Hayes scored for the winners who will now meet Brazuca United in round three.
ROUND-UP:
In the Premier A League, Kilmallock opened a three point lead, albeit with three games extra played, when they put seven goals past Prospect.
Tommy Heffernan claimed four of the goals, brother, Jason netted twice and Sean Lyons completed the rout.
Dave Frawley scored the only goal of the game for Athlunkard Villa in a win overt Corbally Utd while Fairview Rgs B and Caherdavin Celtic shared the spoils. Brian Shorten scored for Celtic.
In Division 1A, A Vinny Ryan double helped Pallasgreen to a win over Patrickswell while Ballylanders and Star Rvs drew 1-1. Rob McLoughlin scored for the county side.
Holycross and Cappamore ended scoreless. In Division 1B, Parkville moved to within three points of leaders Aisling with a 3-1 win over Nenagh B.
Gary Fowley scored two and Finn Lannon one. Goals from Ben O'Sullivan, Brian O'Sullivan, Conor Brett and Jamie Kavanagh helped Newport to a 4-1 win at Castle Rvs while Rian Barrett and Cian Moore scored for Corbally Utd B in a 2-1 win over Kilfrush.

Colin O'Neill scored a double for Caledonians in a 2-1 win over Herbertstown B. Daniel McGuire replied. Darren Molloy scored a hat trick for Hill Celtic but they lost 4-3 to Nenagh.
In Youth football, Fairview Rgs hit Lough Derg for six courtesy of Zak McInerney (2), Rian Goggin, Cameron O'Grady, Calum Kiely and Kyle McSweeney.
In Division two, Corbally drew 4-4 with Shelbourne for whom Tomasz Gabat, Mark Hogan, Daniel Collins and Paul McDonagh were on the mark.
In the Under 17’s Sean O'Donoghue was on target for Geraldines but they fell 3-1 to Newport whose goals came from Lucas Wright, Liam Lynch and Sean Wrynn.
