Limerick’s WBO champion Lee and the challenger Billy Joe Saunders come face-to-face for the first time around Tuesday lunch-time when a press conference takes place in Thomond Park to confirm details of their September 19 bout.

Ahead of the media event it has been revealed that the ticket prices will range from €30 in the two stands to €125 for ringside seats.

There will be no terrestrial television coverage with boxing subscription channel Box Nation providing exclusive tv coverage of the title fight.

The capacity for the WBO title fight will be confirmed this Tuesday but it appears there will be no terraces used in Thomond Park but both stands will be fully open as well as extra on-pitch seating after the ring which will be on the half way line.

Already confirmed is that tickets will go on sale at 12.30 this Tuesday lunch-time.

Ticketmaster outlets and the ticketmaster website will operate the sale of tickets for the historic September 19 event in the home of Munster Rugby.

The last of Lee’s five fights on Shannonside was in May 2010 when he defeated Mamadou Thiam.

All previous fights took place in the UL Sports Arena in front of approximately 3,000 passionate and vocal supporters.

All conquering amateur female star Katie Taylor could be set for a spot on the September 19 undercard.
