Patrickswell booked their place in the Limerick SHC for the first time since 2006 thanks to a 2-24 to 0-8 win over Adare in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.

Ciaran Carey’s side were completely dominant and had the game wrapped up by half time when they led 2-14 to 0-4. Lar Considine’s goal on 19 minutes had put them 1-9 to 0-3 in front and Thomas O’Brien’s goal had them firmly in control by the break.

The continued accuracy of Diarmaid Byrnes and Jack Kelleher ensured the Well stayed on top throughout the second half as they eased through to a final meeting with Na Piarsaigh next Sunday in the Gaelic Grounds.
