THE Ulster Bank All-Ireland League action for 2015 kicks of this Saturday, January 3, with a full programme of games in Divisions 1A and 1B.

In the top flight, seventh-placed Young Munster travel to Musgrave Park in Cork for a crucial fixture against bottom side Dolphin.

All three Limerick sides in Division 1B are in action this Saturday. Third-placed Garryowen will look to boost their promotion hopes by beating Buccaneers at Dooradoyle.

Meanwhile, across the city, seventh-placed UL-Bohemian will look to get back to winning ways against Dublin University on the back pitch at Thomond Park.

Shannon, struggling in the relegation zone, face a trip to Galway to take on table toppers Galwegians at Crowley Park. Kick-off in all games this weekend is at 2.30pm.

Young Munster slipped out of the play-off places with their disappointing away defeat to Ballynahinch last time out. Munsters’ will be anxious to pick up more wins on the road in 2015 as a narrow success against Cork Con was the Greenfields only success away from home in the first half of the AIL this season.

Dolphin are yet to win a single game in the top flight this term, but the Cork side have recorded three draws to date.

In Division 1B, Garryowen got their promotion bid back on track before Christmas with a bonus point victory over Shannon. A combination of that five-point haul and Galwegians surprise defeat to Dublin University has boosted Garryowen’s prospects.
