Munster have made just one change to their starting team for Sunday’s Heineken Cup showdown with Edinburgh in Thomond Park.

Stephen Archer starts in the front alongside Damien Varley and Dave Kilcoyne as the experienced BJ Botha drops to the bench.

There is also one change among the replacements with Paddy Butler returning to the squad for the first time since the opening round in Murrayfield and CJ Stander dropping back to the ‘A’ team.

Simon Zebo, who was a surprise omission from the Ireland squad named during the week, is again on the bench with Keith Earls and Johne Murphy continuing on the wings.

Munster need to win with a bonus point - and hope that one of the French teams slip up - to earn a home quarter-final.

The game kicks off in Thomond Park at 12.45pm and a small number of tickets are still available.

Munster team in full is: Felix Jones; Keith Earls, Casey Laulala, James Downey, Johne Murphy; Ian Keatley, Conor Murray; Dave Kilcoyne, Damien Varley, Stephen Archer; Dave Foley, Paul O’Connell; Peter O’Mahony, Tommy O’Donnell, James Coughlan. Replacements: Duncan Casey, James Cronin, BJ Botha, Donncha O’Callaghan, Paddy Butler, Duncan Williams, JJ Hanrahan, Simon Zebo
