Feohanagh-Castlemahon claimed the Limerick Junior Football title in Abbeyfeale on Sunday when they had a 1-8 to 1-7 win over Glin.

Having lost the junior hurling decider to Feenagh-Kilmeedy a week earlier, they responded well to that disappointment and were 0-6 to 0-1 ahead at the break.

Glin started the second half well however and a goal and a point from Ger Lyons had them back within a point just minutes after the restart.

However Feohanagh hit back again and a Tommy Butler penalty, after he was fouled himself, was the key score. Glin fought back well but they couldn’t close the gap and man of the match William Lomasney sealed the win with a late point.
