LIMERICK Ladies football captain, Roísín Ambrose, has been nominated for the TG4 junior player of the year.
Ambrose has been nominated on the back of a hugely consistent season at midfield in which the Shannonsiders reached the All-Ireland final.
However, Limerick came up just short in that junior All-Ireland final this summer against Down at Croke Park.
Ambrose is short-listed for the prestigious award alongside Down player Natasha Ferris and Fermanagh’s Bláithín Bogue.
The winners will be revealed at the 2023 TG4 All-Star Awards banquet at The Bonnington Dublin Hotel on Saturday, November 18.
