MUNSTER jumped up to second place in the Guinness PRO12 table thanks to a convincing 34-3 bonus point win over Edinburgh at Murrayfield this Saturday night.
Anthony Foley’s men replaced Ulster in the home semi-final places on points difference after racking up five tries in the Scottish capital.
Munster led 10-3 at half-time with Duncan Casey crossing for the only try in the opening period. Munster, powered by an impressive scrum, added four more tries in the second period through CJ Stander, Conor Murray, Simon Zebo and Keith Earls.
There are now just three series of regular series games to go in the PRO12 and Munster’s next outing is a Saturday, April 25 meeting with Benetton Treviso at Musgrave Park, 3.05pm.
