CLINICAL Na Piarsaigh collected their second win in Group 1 of the Bon Secours Limerick senior hurling championship when easing past Doon on a 4-23 to 0-16 scoreline in Bruff on Saturday evening.

Four first-half goals from the Caherdavin side fired them to back-to-back victories over a disappointing Doon.

The champions had far too much in attack, as a brace of green flags from Adrian Breen as well as strikes from Conor Boylan and Ronan Lynch sent them 4-9 to 0-8 ahead at half-time. A large crowd attended the game, which was played in wonderful Autumnal sunshine.

Adam English accounted for much of Doon's tally, as they fell to a similar defeat to the one suffered against Kilmallock at the same venue on the opening weekend.

Shane O'Neill's men continued to work the scoreboard in the second half as Wayne Kearns, Emmet McEvoy and Keith Dempsey chipped with scores. A green flag eluded Doon, who welcomed back Barry Murphy from injury.

English would finish with thirteen points as Pat Ryan was their only scorer in a subdued second-half.

Na Piarsaigh face Ahane on Thursday evening, while Doon battle basement outfit, Kildimo Pallaskenry, in a must-win clash.
