The Limerick Desmond Football League Divisional Cup draws have been made for 2023/24
THE draws have been made for the Limerick Desmond Football League Divisional Cups for the 2023/24 season.
In the Premier Division League Cup draw, Premier Division holders Rathkeale are in Group B alongside Division One League winners, Athea United.
Group B also comprises of Abbeyfeale United A and Newcastle West Town A.
In Group A, Broadford United and Creeves Celtic are drawn alongside Breska Rovers A and Glin Rovers A.
The competition will consist of one round of games with the top two sides in each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, in the Division 1 League Cup, Group A comprises of Askeaton-Kilcornan A, Granagh Utd, Rathkeale AFC B and Shannonside.
Group B includes Ballingarry AFC A, Dromore Utd A, Glin Rovers B and St Ita's AFC. Again the format will consist of one round of games with the top two sides in each group reaching the semi-finals.
In the Division 2 League Cup, the draw sees Ballingarry AFC B, Feenagh, Mountcollins and Newcastle West Town Reserves in Group A, while Abbeyfeale United B, Ballysteen AFC, Knockaderry AFC and Shountrade AFC are in Group B.
