The semi-final pairings in the Limerick SFC were confirmed over the weekend when St Patrick’s beat Ballylanders and St Kieran’s got the better of Ballysteen in the quarter-finals.

The semi-final pairings in the Limerick SFC were confirmed over the weekend when St Patrick’s beat Ballylanders and St Kieran’s got the better of Ballysteen in the quarter-finals.

St Patrick’s caused a shock when they recorded an 0-11 to 0-7 win over Ballylanders with Eoin Hanrahan and John Mullane scoring seven points between them.

They now play Monaleen in a novel all-city semi-final. The sides met in the group stages of the championship earlier this year when Monaleen came out on top.

In the other quarter-final over the weekend, a late goal from Darragh Treacy helped St Kieran’s to a 1-7 to 0-8 win over Ballysteen. They now play champions Dromcollogher-Broadford in the semi-final. Both games are fixed for this weekend - full details to follow.
