LIMERICK FC face the first of three Premier Division fixtures in just six days when Stuart Taylor’s side host Shamrock Rovers at Thomond Park tonight, Tuesday, at 7.45pm.

Following this evening’s clash, Limerick FC travel to Oriel Park to take on Dundalk on Friday night, before completing their hectic schedule with a home fixture against Bohemians at Thomond Park on Monday night next (7.45pm).

Blues boss Taylor and assistant manager Malky Thomson attended Shamrock Rovers League Cup final victory over Drogheda United at Tallaght Stadium on Saturday evening, a game which forced this league fixture into a midweek setting.

Tonight’s game will be Limerick’s first competitive fixture in 17 days. Their last outing was a useful 0-0 draw with title chasing St Patrick’s Athletic at Thomond Park.

The Blues will be looking for their first win in six games, their last victory coming on August 2 at home to Cork City.
