Limerick reveal starting line-up to face Clare in Munster SHC final

Cathal O'Neill scores Limerick's second goal in their Munster SHC round robin win over Cork at the TUS Gaelic Grounds

LIMERICK'S starting line-up to face Clare in Sunday's eagerly-awaited Munster senior hurling championship final has been revealed.

The Limerick management team has named an unchanged line-up from the one which defeated Cork in their most recent outing in the Munster championship two weeks ago.

Cian Lynch is again listed among the substitutes for the game, with Cathal O'Neill set to start again at centre half-forward.

Sunday's game at the TUS Gaelic Grounds throws-in at 1.45pm.

Limerick are bidding to a record a five-in-a-row of Munster senior hurling titles this weekend.

Clare scored a one-point win over Limerick when the sides met at the Gaelic Grounds in the round robin phase of the provincial championship in April.

However, Limerick edged the Banner in a thrilling Munster final 12 months ago at FBD Semple Stadium which was only decided after extra-time.
