CONOR Murray and Peter O’Mahony have been ruled out of Munster’s Guinness Pro12 final against Glasgow in Belfast on Saturday.
Both players picked up injuries in the semi-final win over The Ospreys last Saturday and have failed to recover in time. Murray has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a knee injury while O’Mahony continues to be hindered by a hip problem. Simon Zebo - Munster’s other injury concern - has been deemed fit to play and takes his place on the wing once again.
Duncan Williams replaces Murray while Billy Holland comes into the second row to partner Paul O’Connell in what will be his last game for the province. Donnacha Ryan moves to the backrow alongside Paddy Butler and CJ Stander. The other change in the pack sees BJ Botha come in for Stephen Archer.
In the absence of regular captain O’Mahony, Denis Hurley will captain the side from centre. Cathal Sheridan and Sean Dougall, meanwhile, are promoted to the bench.
The game kicks off at 6.30pm and is live on Sky Sports and TG4.
