LIMERICK’S final adult hurling championship final of 2013 takes place this Sunday (2.00) in Ballyagran when Doon meet Templeglantine in the JBHC final.

What a contrast in this final between the only adult team from the Templeglantine club and the third string from Doon.

Back in 2007, these sides met in the league and championship finals with the West Limerick men winning both.

After a number of years in the ‘A’ grade they must be fancied to again win promotion.

Inter-county footballer John Riordan is their leading light in a nicely balanced side.

Eighteen years after making his only Munster SHC appearance for Limerick, Tadgh Hayes will be at centre back for Doon.

The east Limerick side will also have James Fox and Paddy Coleman as experienced campaigners.
