THE semi-finals of the Hyundai Limerick Motor Centre Limerick SHC are fixed for Sunday September 15.
The games will take place as a double header in the Gaelic Grounds.
Adare and Doon will open proceedings at 2.00.
Then at 3.30 is the clash of champions Kilmallock and 2011 champions Na Piarsaigh.
Ahead of that clash both sides have injury worries. Tony Considine’s Kilmallock, more so. They started the quarter-final win over Knockainey without centre back Philip O’Loughlin. Then in the course of the game Robbie Egan, Graeme and Jake Mulcahy were all substituted injured. And Derek O’Mahony hobbled to the line in injury time.
Na Piarsaigh also lost Alan Dempsey to injury in their win over Ahane.
The senior hurling County Cup semi-finals will take place the same weekend - on the Saturday, September 14 at 5.45.
Murroe-Boher will play Patrickswell in Bruff, while Effin will face Granagh-Ballingarry in Kilmallock.
The semi-finals of the Nick Greene Sportsground Management sponsored Limerick IHC will be played on Sunday September 29 as a double header in Kilmallock.
Bruff play Knockaderry at 2.00, with Blackrock facing Dromin-Athlacca at 3.30.
The IHC County Cup final is scheduled for Saturday September 14 in Croagh with Monaleen playing St Kierans.
