THERE were very mixed results for the six teams from the Limerick Underage Hurling Academy in their annual competitions last weekend.

It was a weekend to remember for Cork, who won all competitions.

The six Limerick panels, representing 39 different clubs, played a total of 17 games - winning six and suffering defeat in 11.

Limerick didn’t take part in the U-17 competition due to a shortage of numbers, with many panel members involved in adult club championship games over the weekend.

Limerick’s Underage Hurling Academy is led by Head Coach Anthony Daly. A review of the U-14, U-15 and U-16 competitions will take place with the varying managements and the Implementation Group of Joe McKenna, Liam Hayes and Mike O’Riordan.
