LIMERICK FC will look to bounce back from their 3-0 home loss to Sligo Rovers last weekend when they travel to Tallaght Stadium to play Shamrock Rovers this Friday.
The game kicks off at 7.30pm and brings to an end the first round of games in this season’s Airtricity League Premier Division - although Limerick do have a game in hand as their clash with Cork City was postponed earlier this month
Limerick sit in tenth place in the table on ten points, two clear of Bray Wanderers who are in the relegation zone and ten clear of winless Athlone Town.
Friday’s opponents Shamrock Rovers have had a decent start to the season and are in fourth place on 20 points, just a point off leaders Cork City and St Pat’s.
Meanwhile, Limerick FC are preparing for a hectic three games in a week in May and offering supporters the chance to go to all three games for the price of two.
Limerick play Dundalk on Friday, May 16, Cork City on Tuesday, May 20, and champions St Pat’s on Friday, May 23.
“The club recognises how difficult financially it will be to support Stuart Taylor’s team during this week and so we have put together a discounted package deal, with three games for the price of two,” said a club statement.
Supporters can buy a stand ticket for all three games for n30 or a terrace ticket for all three games for just n24. Further discounts are available for students and OAPs.
The ticket bundle is available from the Limerick FC Store at Arthur’s Quay and on Ticketmaster.
